Walk like a man

He stands to inherit a fortune if he can ever get off all fours! Award-winning comedian Howie Mandel unleashes howls of laughter in this hilariously outrageous comedy co-starring Christopher Lloyd and Cloris Leachman. Bobo Shand (Mandel) is a real wild man. In fact, he may not really be a man at all! Lost in the mountains as an infant and raised by a pack of wolves, Bobo has spent his entire life chasing rabbits and barking at the moon. Now, he’s being brought back to civilization just in timeto claim a $30 million inheritance. But only if he can leave his wacky, flea-bitten ways behind him and learn to Walk Like a Man.

Another local adoption success story sent to us

Here is our little Roxy. We adopted her back in June from the pet fair at Petsense. She had been in the Enoch shelter. She was skinny and her coat was a mess. She had a rough journey for a little one including a litter of puppies.

She has brought much love and joy to our family. We lost our family bulldog a couple of weeks ago and Roxy took over as the “class clown” making everyone laugh and smile with her antics.

She has a forever home here and another success story for the local adoption programs.

Dog tip of the week

Treat the dog with the respect of any other person. Your best friend would do a lot for you, can you say the same? While working with dogs can sometimes bring stressful situations, it is important to never take out frustrations on a dog. Canine abuse is more prevalent than you might think, and not everyone appreciates the love and loyalty a dog can bring. So be different: treat your dog to the best of your abilities
